Crianza Zifar 2005, has been awarded in the competition Selections des Vins in Canada World 2009, with the GOLD MEDAL.
At the 16th edition of the competition, held from 26 to 31 May in Quebec (Canada), there were 1826 wines from around the world, 60 of which were raised with the Gold Medal, and seven of them were Spanish red wines. Zifar Crianza 2005 was one of them, and obtained a final score of 91.17.

Bodegas Zifar are in luck. Zifar Seleccion 2006, has received a Golden Bacchus from the Spanish Tasters Union in March of 2010 in Madrid.

Under "Dinners with stars" some gastronomic events have been organized by the Diputacion de Valladolid, Museo Provincial del Vino and participating restaurants. These restaurants are six of the seven restaurants that have some star Michelin in Castilla y Leon.
Six dinners will take place the last Friday of each month, so, this initiative will begin on January 29 and end on June 25, 2010.
The six chefs will gather at each meeting to prepare their gourmet meal. The tasting menu consists of six courses made with products will products Castilla y León. Zifar wineries winery participates as a partner in this great astronomical event, accompanied with 22 other wineries in our region.

Zifar Crianza 2005 has obtained 4 stars Decanter, in the wine tasting performed by the prestigious magazine Decanter, from the 2005 vintage wines from the Ribera del Duero.

Bodegas Zifar have moved to Vigo, to make the presentation of the winery and its Zifar Crianza 2005. In a amazing environment in the VerbumJazz Café, on the beach of Samil. People from Vigo and many tourists who came, were able to taste our wines on the terrace on a summer night Verbum. From the winery we appreciate the attention they gave us Roberto, Cristina, Gala and all the Verbum team.

We attend the fair in a joint stand with the other three wineries that form the export consortium Vindemia Wines, where participates Zifar Bodegas since one year ago. With this consortium we have managed to export to different countries like USA, Belgium, Ireland, Denmark and Germany. We are now working to open new markets such as Japan, Brazil, Mexico or the Dominican Republic.

Bodegas Zifar attends PROWEIN FAIR in Dusseldorf (Germany), which takes place from 16 to 18 March. In this exhibition the famous German journalist Jürgen Mathäb, selected our wine Zifar Crianza 2005, among the many references shown. He described Zifar Crianza 2005 as "a great wine. "
